Raw style – pure energyWhen architect Erling Viksjø (1910–1971) saw his masterpiece in natural concrete emerge in all its Brutalist glory in the Økern neighbourhood of Oslo in 1968, the building was intended to serve as headquarters for a telephone and cable factory. Forty years later Choice Hotels Scandinavia is proud to offer its guests one of the best conference hotels in the Norwegian capital, inspired by 1960s design, music and energy.

Apart from its spectacular architecture the hotel hosts works of art from different periods that together create a unique balance between the modern and the old. We are the natural choice of venue for your next conference. Quality Hotel 33 offers a total of 980 conference places spread over 10 meeting rooms, 9 board rooms / group rooms and a large, communal exhibition space over two levels. All rooms are of course fully equipped with everything you need in terms of technical equipment. In the great hall you have a large stage and a ceiling height of almost 7 metres to play with.

The 1st floor restaurant has room for 300 guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the top floor you’ll find our unique à la carte restaurant, bar and lounge. The combination of an extraordinary meal, refreshing drinks and panoramic views of the city of Oslo and the Oslofjord is unbeatable!
Our professional team will give you a culinarian experience to match the panoramic view. We prepare our 7-course Tasting Menu daily from the freshest norwegian seasonal product, inspired by Asian flawours and culture.

Rooms inspired by the 1960s design, music and energy
We offer our guests a choice between four types of rooms: moderate, standard, superior and suites. All 242 rooms have been tastefully furnished with designs by well-known names such as Norway Says, Philip Starck and David Design. Large windows mean the rooms are light and wlcoming. On the top floor you will find our Relax suite, where you can exercise or wind down in the sauna.
